Imagine your daughter discovering the wonders of the natural world. Imagine her becoming self-sufficient while living with other Girl Scouts of the Southern Appalachians. Imagine her gaining self-confidence to lead a group through the challenge course.

The Girl Scout Council of the Southern Appalachians (GSCSA) specializes in enriching the lives of girls through fun-filled education. At Camp Tanasi, brownies and some Juniors live in cabins; older girls live in platform tents with cots and mattresses. Fresh, home- cooked meals are served daily in Lighton Lodge.

Camp Tanasi is located in Andersonville on 461 forested acres bordering Norris Lake, an ideal setting for girls. Camp Tanasi offers a climbing tower, challenge course, rappelling wall, canoeing dock, kayaking, paddle boating, water skiing, hiking trails, backcountry camping, swimming, archery, and crafts.
