Each day at the Ranch begins and ends with the spirit and energy of “Team Time” as groups gather on our hillside amphitheater to a backdrop of camp music and songs. Campers will fill their days splashing around with friends in our newly renovated pool, challenging themselves on our climbing tower at Waredaca, honing their athletic skills while competing on our fields, getting creative in arts & crafts and so much more. Our camp is built around providing your kids with choices from a broad array of both traditional and unique camp activities. Special events help raise the bar on fun and make sure that no two weeks at the Ranch are alike. One week, campers might be divided into different colors to compete in Camp Olympics and another they might create a box car to race with their group mates in our annual derby.

Campers are grouped by their grade and gender and we do our best to accommodate any requests to be placed with friends. Groups usually have between 12-19 campers and always have at least one Senior Counselor (18+ years old) and one Junior Counselor (16+ years old.) Additionally, our Leader in Training candidates are placed with groups in order to learn how to become the great staff of the future.

At Barrie Camp, we seek to develop your child’s best qualities and provide all of the things that are needed for kids to enjoy a fun and engaging camp experience. A Washington, D.C. area institution since the 1950s, Barrie Camp offers a safe, self-contained environment perfect for campers to freely explore and enjoy their favorite activities with friends old and new. Barrie Camp provides a range of traditional and new activities that make each summer unique. Through hands-on experiences, collaboration, and diversity of thought and culture, campers are encouraged to be themselves, try new things, explore, accept challenges, and find joy in all that they do.

Calleva is an outdoor adventure day camp aimed at getting kids of all ages into some of the most beautiful wilderness areas in the DC area. Calleva has a variety of exceptional camp offerings and amazing staff that love to teach and create in the outdoors. We aim to grow individual confidence, group cooperation, outdoor skills and environmental responsibility among our participants.

Camp Sonshine is a state and county licensed, American Camp Association (ACA) accredited Christian Day Camp that provides summer and year-round programming for school-aged children. Our programs, tailored to meet the developmental needs of each age group that we serve, combine ridiculous amounts of fun with meaningful moments that kids remember. We handpick our staff from all over the world who love working with children and who intentionally model the kind of behavior parents want their children to emulate.

Four fantastic camping programs. Day Camp for ages 5-12, Skate Camp for skaters 7-14, Travelin Teens Travel program for tweens and teens age 10-16, and a Adventure Camp for adventurous tweens and teens age 10-16.

Camp JCC is a day camp located in Rockville Maryland at the Bender JCC. We offer campers a mix of traditional, specialty and travel based camps to choose from. All of our camps provide campers with an amazing fun filled day with the opportunity to learn and grow in a safe, inclusive and nurturing environment.

Valley Mill Camp has been serving families in the Washington, DC area since 1956, combining closeness of home with the atmosphere of an away camp. Sixty acres of deep woods, surrounding a spring-fed lake, provide a delightfully cool headquarters for a vigorous camp program. Growth and development of character and personality, improvement of athletic skills and a sense of group fun are our goals. Small camp groups, led by a large staff of qualified counselors, ensure that every camper receives individual attention.
