Camp Courageous is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that provides year-round recreational and respite care opportunities for individuals with special needs. Camp Courageous offers a variety of services including week-long camp sessions, respite care weekends, winter camper care, family camp sessions, outdoor education sessions, and Courageous Travels. On an annual basis, Camp Courageous serves thousands of individuals with special needs ranging in age from 1 to 105.

Nestled in timber and rock bluffs along the scenic Maquoketa River. Onsite we offer real-rock climbing and bouldering, climbing wall with zip line, challenge course, geocaching, mountain boarding, archery and Frisbee golf. Offsite adventure includes caving at nearby Pictured Rocks Park and canoeing/kayaking/tubing a 7-mile stretch of the Maquoketa River. Our swimming is done indoor at our neighbor Camp Courageous' pool complex where people of all ages enjoy the water rock-climbing wall, volleyball net, basketball hoop and numerous pool toys. Campers/guests stay in newly-renovated climate-controlled cabins. Lifelong memories, meeting new friends and growing in faith await you at Pictured Rocks UM Camp!
