Welcome to Phantom Lake YMCA Camp!

As the oldest, continuously running, YMCA Camp in North America, Phantom Lake YMCA Camp (PLYC) has been providing enriching outdoor experiences for youth for over 110 years. Nestled on 72 acres of rolling hills on Phantom Lake in southeastern Wisconsin, children have many activities to choose from in a safe and nurturing environment.

Phantom Lake YMCA utilizes Christian principles to provide the opportunity for both children and adults to grow spiritually, physically, mentally, and socially in accordance with Luke 2:52 "...And Jesus advanced in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and Man."

Over 115 years ago, the founders of Phantom Lake YMCA Camp chose a bible verse and emblem to reflect their goals of each campers experience. “...And Jesus increased in Wisdom, Stature, and in favor with God and Man,” -Luke 2:52 serves as a basis of Phantom’s philosophy of helping kids and people of all ages create a balanced life. The four sides of the square represent these four areas of growth and are discussed throughout the week and in the closing ceremony. First year campers receive a Square Patch to remind them of their time and growth at camp. Returning campers receive a cloth bar as well as a colored arrowhead.
