The Henry J. & Willemina B. Kuhn Day Camp is located on 90 acres in Horsham Township, Montgomery County.

The Camp was founded in 1950 and is adjacent to its sister organization, The College Settlement Camp. The two camps share some facilities and resources.

Kuhn Day Camp is a great, exciting place where children aged 7-12 who attend designated schools get to spend the day swimming, creek crawling, playing games, telling stories, cooking, picking berries and all sorts of other fun filled and enjoyable things.

Kuhn Day Camp is a great, exciting place where children get to spend the day swimming, creek crawling, playing sports, singing, making crafts, biking, boating, visiting the farm, enjoying the camp animal collection and participating in special presentations. Friends’ Central School is the home to LinguaZone Language Camps! This summer enrichment program offers Spanish, French, German, Russian, Latin, Chinese, Italian and Ancient Greek for ages 5 - 17. Whether a student is beginning a language, looking for remediation or hoping to advance a level at school, LinguaZone Language Camps deliver a fun learning experience for all. Creative and energetic language educators in the area will aid students in reaching their goals.

LinguaZone Language Camp students work on projects collaboratively, play creatively and explore the language fearlessly. Campers apply their language skills in endless ways inside and outside of the classroom. Students enjoy healthy international competition by playing in a World Cup style tournament, hone their language skills by writing a script and filming a video, practice clothing vocabulary by staging a fashion show and follow directions in the target language by making a recipe.

Our caring, quality staff make the experience the best it can be for the campers. Our Leadership Team of Directors meets year-round to assure that the program and staff are of the highest quality. We have great AFFORDABLE overnight, teen & day camp programs for children from the Greater Philadelphia area. We have scholarships and transportation available for families needing assistance.

With almost 100 years of experience running team building, biking, farming, high ropes, swimming, arts and crafts, boating, fishing, sports, special days, outdoor and environmental education and many more activities - we have been building character, self-esteem and respect in our campers for generations.

Our beautiful 236 acre campus in Horsham runs 5 or 12 day overnight camp sessions and 4 week day camp. With fields, forests, a farm, creeks, ponds and plenty of trails, it’s a place where campers have room to explore and discover.

We also offer 5 or 12 day Teen Adventure Program sessions, primarily for 13 and 14 year old "graduates" of our other programs, however this program is open to all children who enjoy camping, hiking, rafting and other high adventure activities. The 12 day sessions also include five day rustic camping experience at our Spruce Run Outpost, our beautiful site in the Pocono Mountains.

Our staff team is composed of college aged folks recruited from all over the world plus many former campers. Our carefully selected team completes a 10 – 14 day comprehensive training before working with campers. We pride ourselves on our long history of providing excellent programs, our focus on character development, our child centered approach to designing and leading programs and our professional staff

We are a non-profit 501(c)3 organization. We also run spring and fall school programs as College Settlement Outdoor School – with 1, 2 or 3 day environmental and experiential programs for elementary, middle and high school students.

Wave Week is an intensive, six-day residential or commuter camp for teens entering 8th-12th grade held annually at Villanova University outside of Philadelphia, PA. At Wave Week, students learn skills in communication, group dynamics, leadership, project planning, diversity awareness, and more.
