Established in 2011, the Woodlawn Adventure Camp has quickly become a destination day camp for children in the Town of Hamburg and neighboring communities. Located at Woodlawn Beach State Park in Blasdell, NY, Woodlawn Adventure Camp strives to provide a variety of social and educational experiences for campers ages 5 to 14.

Campers spend most of the day in smaller groups of boys and girls their age. Our trained counselors work to plan age-appropriate sport games, nature walks through our beautiful park, and beach activities both morning and afternoon. Canoeing, paddle boating, fishing, bounce houses, and swimming are fun options available on most days.

In the event of rainy weather, campers enjoy games of four square, Xbox 360 Kinect, board games, movies, and arts & crafts time in our air-conditioned, state-of-the-art lodge. Campers also eat their lunches together as a large group here every day.

Weekly special event days, from Hawaii Day and Halloween Day to Buffalo Bills Day, are planned throughout the summer. Campers also get to explore science, nature, and art through a weekly science activity and a weekly craft project.

Perhaps the greatest highlights each week are field trips to fun and exciting places all over Western New York. Some of the planned trips include: Martin’s Fantasy Island, Sky Zone, The Buffalo Zoo, Lasertron, Niagara Falls, Holland Motor Speedway, Tifft Nature Preserve, and more!
