The goal of the CYO Day Camp is to help each camper have a healthy, happy summer while developing body, mind and spirit. We stress safety first.

The Entrepreneurship Boot Camp is a 6-day, fun, fast-paced, hands-on experience where teens learn the fundamentals of becoming an entrepreneur. We provide an immersive, creative environment designed to help high school students discover what it takes to start and run a small business and to determine whether or not that path is right for them.

Design thinking, creativity, social media, and 21st century skills are central to the camp. Students form teams, work closely with mentors, and listen as industry thought-leaders share their experiences. Days are jam-packed with activities to help students discover, collaborate, problem solve, design, and communicate effectively, all skills that are important to success in business. Activities will also emphasize the importance of social entrepreneurship, sustainability, and fair trade practices. The final day of camp culminates with team presentations to a panel of judges and a “Gutsy Entrepreneur” being selected.

At YMCA Discovery Camps and MVP Sports Camp, your child will gain skills, try new things and grow in confidence and self assurance, while practicing the YMCA core values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility as part of daily camp life. By participating in a larger community, your child will learn teamwork, hone social skills and make many new friends. Our culturally diverse team of Y counselors brings enthusiasm, responsibility, knowledge and a genuine love for children to their jobs. Staff members are carefully selected and receive extensive pre-season camp training that includes risk management, character development and program policies.
