Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater St. Louis will be offering day camp at five locations this year. Our summer camp offers young people what they need and want most: trained professional staff who respect and listen to them; a safe environment where they can have fun and be themselves; and interesting, constructive activities that channel youthful energy into challenging pursuits. Camp Independence is a sports day camp for children with cerebral palsy. The camp is for participants ages 7-21 and functioning at a first grade level or higher and able to follow 1 step commands. Campers must be able to sit independently or with minimal support and have reasonable use of at least one arm. Camp activities include various sports and lots of physical activity.
