At the heart of its mission statement Camp Avoda states: "Building Friendships that Last a Lifetime." We are a non-profit resident camp for Jewish boys ages 7 through 15 in Middleboro, MA. Our program includes: Sports, Swimming and Boating, Arts, Judaica, Ropes Course & Climbing Wall, Field Trips, Evening Activities, Overnight Camp-outs, Color War, Intercamp and intracamp teams, and more!

We are a small day camp, located out back of the Gleason Family YMCA.

Everything we need to nurture our children is available right on the property.

We have a great brand new outdoor pool that the campers use. Our camp counselors are veterans and are well trained. We are ACA accredited.

Camp Pembroke is all about tradition, values, friendship and fun! The all-girls environment, free of social pressures that exist outside of camp, exposes our campers to experiences they might otherwise never have.

Founded in 1935 by Eli and Bessie Cohen, Camp Pembroke is an all-girls camp located in a quiet cove on Lake Oldham in Pembroke, Massachusetts. Our family atmosphere, rich camping tradition and Judaic spirit create a special place where girls develop strong character and form life-long friendships.

We encourage our campers to reach their ultimate potential by being active, acquiring new skills, learning to be part of a community, and challenging themselves with new experiences. Campers are exposed to a wide variety of land and water sports, and creative and performing arts to learn new skills and perfect ones they already have.

The camp experience is guided by the Cohen Camps’ dedication to the spiritual and ethical values of Judaism that enrich the Camp Pembroke experience. Campers participate in Israeli dance, music and the exploration of Judaic themes. Blessings are recited in the morning, before and after every meal, and with the weekly celebration of Sabbath filled with ruach and joy.

To further enrich the Pembroke experience many young women become leaders within the camp by transitioning through the Dor L’Dor Leadership Program. Leadership development continues formally in the following Junior Counselor year and throughout the summer for all counselors.

A safe and supportive community for youth ages 7 to 7th grade to develop healthy social behaviors and to have fun.

We create hands-on, engaging experiences with nature to guide campers’ natural curiosity and foster a sense of place. Our staff encourages sharing and reflection so that campers have opportunities for personal growth and self-discovery.

Our camp provides a balance of activities each day. Campers have time to explore and the freedom to play individually, participate in group adventures

and learning, and develop comfort and confidence in the outdoors.

The Steve Ferroli Baseball Camp offers day and overnight programs from its headquarters in Hanson, Mass., less than 20 miles south of historic Boston. One of the premier instructional programs in the country, it is owned and directed by the founder of the Ted Williams League, Steve Ferroli, selected by Ted Williams as the number one teacher of Ted’s world-famous Science of Hitting theory.
