From the classroom to the seashore, our accredited Summer Learning Adventure Camps merge scientific exploration with hands-on fun and learning. Campers ages 4-15 investigate marine habitats, create ocean art projects, learn about careers in oceanography, and combine the science and sports of surfing and snorkeling, all while making new friends and memories.

Camp Fire – Camp CaHiTo has always recognized curious youth exploring their world need a secure place to grow up. And since 1910 we’ve provided that place, through camps. Camp Fire believes when youth get the chance to be outdoors, to work with others in community, and learn to respect nature they better respect themselves. We’re proud of the role we have played—and continue to play—in guiding young lives to an appreciation of their own lives and the world we all live in.

When children attend Camp CaHiTo Day Camps they discover an amazing 7.5 acre reserve in Balboa Park. We use the Camp Fire curriculum to facilitate outdoor games, songs, skits and self growth skills. Camp CaHiTo has Traditional Day Camps running throughout the year for children ages 3 and up; with Spring Break Camp, Summer Camp, Thanksgiving Camp, and Winter Camp Programs.

Give your children the best this summer. Camp Jaycee offers adventures, friends, and great summer memories for ages 10-months - 12th grade. Located in the heart of UTC, we feature a low camper to counselor ratio, swim lessons and over 40 camp types covering a wide range of interests! These include: Traditional, Sports, Web Design, Fencing, Photography, Cooking, Spanish Immersion, Theatre and much more. Camp Jaycee is open to everyone and has bus transportation from all over San Diego country. Multi-session family discounts and scholarships are now available. So be part of it!

Camp Oliver is a non-profit, non-denominational camp that hosts up to 72 co-ed campers in ages ranging from 6 to 12. We have 6 cabins that will sleep up to 12 campers of the same gender with 3 to 4 staff in the same cabin but with private quarters. Sessions run from Sundays to Fridays and a typical season is 5-6 weeks. Camp Oliver hosts children that come from all backgrounds of religions, ethnicity, financial and family situations. We feel that children greatly benefit from an outdoor experience in a safe and caring natural environment where they can connect with their peers and counselors through educational and fun activities. We have a policy that no camper will be turned away regardless of their ability to pay the camp fee, as such we have many campers that come to camp on financial aid known as “camperships”. Our camp offers traditional camp activities which include swimming, hiking, archery, low elements course, basketball, arts and crafts, dance classes, nature studies and camp fires with s’mores. We have sleeping under the stars and show an outdoor movie that evening, everyone has a wonderful time. Camp Oliver has a long tradition, over 60 years, of being a special place where children come together and make memories that last a lifetime.

A summer camping experience for cancer patients & their siblings ages 4-18. Camp is free of charge to San Diego & Imperial County residents.

Each group of campers and staff plans its own activities based on the girls' interests, including arts and crafts, hiking, archery, nature activities, swimming, challenge course, sleep-outs and cookouts. Additional activities are offered based on the camp session's theme. Choose a theme with your camper by looking for activities she already loves, or has always wanted to try!

This traditional camp's living units are tucked in the trees surrounding an open meadow. Girls sleep either in open-air cabins with built-in bunks, tent houses or on cots under the stars. All accommodations have modern bathrooms with showers and luggage storage areas. Activities center around the lodge, dining hall, swimming pool areas, environmental center and boast miles of hiking trails and natural sights.

At our summer resident (overnight) camps, girls have fun and learn about science and space, the environment, hiking, canoeing, mountain biking, leadership and much more at camps such as Just Add Water, Blogger Girl, Wilderness Adventure, and Camp Chef.

The South Bay Family YMCA offers day camp for children ages 5-17 in the Chula Vista, Bonita, National City and surrounding areas of San Diego.
