Camp Mendocino is an outdoor education and environmental awareness program focused on the character and leadership development of kids from disadvantaged circumstances. For 85 years, Boys & Girls Clubs of San Francisco has been providing this creative, fun and supportive camping experience for youth ages eight to 18. We surround our kids with positive role models 24-hours a day to provide the love and encouragement they need to realize their full potential.

Located in a 2,000 acre beautiful redwood forest three and half hours north of San Francisco, Camp Mendocino offers programs that are clearly unique to those offered at our eight Clubhouses in San Francisco. As with all of our programs at Boys & Girls Clubs of San Francisco, kids learn respect for others and themselves and are given opportunities to learn, grow and succeed.

Camp Winnarainbow, California’s Premiere Circus and Performing Arts Camp was founded by sixties icon Wavy Gravy more than 30 years ago. Located 3 hours north of the Bay Area in beautiful Mendocino County, Camp Winnarainbow offers one and two week sessions during the summer for children ages 7-14. Classes include circus arts, drama, multi-cultural dance and martial arts, play production, trapeze & aerials, tightrope, juggling, unicycling, stilt-walking, gymnastics, magic, music, clowning, art, and environmental awareness. Two-week sessions end with a fabulous show for families & friends. NOTE: Berkeley is our Winter Office, Camp is in Mendocino

Located in Mendocino County, Redwood Adventure Camp offers residential programs for campers 5th grade and up. Come experience an adventurous, challenging and fun-filled week learning how to live in, understand, and respect the wonders and beauty of the outdoors. Or, bring your entire family for a weekend of Family Camp! From archery to swimming, we have all the activities you will need, and then some, to have the summer of your life year after year!
